Job Title: Senior Associate / Vice President

Reports To: Enavate Sciences Team and Board

Location: New York City

Description:

This is an opportunity to become a key member of a growing firm focused on supporting therapeutic companies through capital investments and operational experience.  As a key member of the investment team, the Senior Associate / Vice President will have significant deal evaluation, execution, and post-close monitoring responsibilities while working alongside the senior team members. This position is located in NYC and is a hybrid position with at least 3 days in office.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supporting investment team due diligence for prospective partner companies
• Conducting thorough due diligence on potential targets, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, intellectual property analysis, and financial modeling
• Creating and analyzing financial models to assess the potential return on investment, including revenue forecasts and valuation analysis
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for the investment committee
• Supporting the management of existing portfolio of investments, including monitoring performance and tracking milestones
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics within the biotech sector to identify new investment opportunities
• Collaborate closely with the broader investment team to evaluate investment opportunities, share insights, and contribute to the overall investment strategy

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• 2-5 years of experience in therapeutics investing (public or private)
• Undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic success; an MD or PhD in a biomedical discipline is a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
• Desire to work in a lean, highly collaborative team environment
• Proven problem solving skills
• Exceptional financial modeling skillset
